Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which the Ceann Comhairle has received notice under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy McGrath – the loss of 119 jobs at Foxteq Ireland Limited in Mullingar, County Westmeath and the need for the Government to establish a task force to find an alternative industry for this factory; (2) Deputy Penrose – the implications for employment in Westmeath of the loss of 119 jobs at Foxteq Ireland Limited, Mullingar, and the need to make efforts to find replacement employment; (3) Deputy Tom Hayes – the provision of funding to commence extensions to Our Lady's Hospital, Cashel; (4) Deputy Sheehan – the condition of the national school in Summercove, Kinsale and when finance will be provided for the provision of a new school; (5) Deputy Aylward – that the Minister make immediate funding available for the augmentation of the Kellymount-Paulstown-Goresbridge water supply scheme in County Kilkenny; (6) Deputies Roche and Fox – the effect of measures being implemented by the Department of Agriculture, Food and Rural Development in respect of a number of sheep flocks in County Wicklow (7) Deputy Flanagan – the need to take appropriate action to ensure the reopening of Rhode Power Station, County Offaly and the maintenance of 110 jobs; (8) Deputy Clune – if the Minister will make a statement on the recent reports of illegal dumping of hospital-clinical waste in County Wicklow; (9) Deputy Timmins – if the Minister will report on the steps he is taking to ensure that all cases of illegal dumping of waste in County Wicklow are fully investigated and procedures are put in place to ensure that such dumping is halted.

The matters raised by Deputies McGrath, Penrose, Sheehan, Roche and Fox have been selected for discussion.
