254 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Health and Children if, further to an Adjournment debate on 9 October 2001, he has received a response from the company to the questions raised during the debate; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [30669/01]
As I stated in the Adjournment debate on 9 October, the company has come to the conclusion that, on the basis of available evidence, the discrepancies in the hand-written vaccination records which have been discovered are due to transcription errors. I have asked the company to keep me informed should any further details come to light in this matter and in the event of the company so doing, I will advise the Deputy of same at the earliest opportunity.
