Question:

268 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Health and Children if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 353 of 6 November 2001, the Eastern Regional Health Authority will take action against daily breaches of the smoking regulations on services operated by Dublin Bus; and the failure by the company to act on this matter. [30817/01]

My Department has asked the regional chief executive of the Eastern Regional Health Authority to investigate the complaints regarding enforcement of non-smoking regulations on Dublin Bus services and reply to the Deputy directly.
