401 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will give consideration to reimbursing a school (details supplied) in Dublin 8 for immediate security costs that they had to make; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [30563/01]
In April 2001 my Department approved an all-in grant towards the cost of a scheme of security measures at the school referred to by the Deputy. The payment of the grant was subject to a number of conditions which, I understand, have not been complied with by the school. The building unit has been in touch with the school authorities recently with a view to resolving the outstanding issues.
