Written Answers. - School Transport.

Willie Penrose

Question:

423 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Education and Science if, further to a parliamentary question of 16 October 2001, and taking cognisance of the medical information provided, he will provide a taxi to transport a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath to and from school on a daily basis; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [30824/01]

I am aware of the case raised by the Deputy.

The medical information to which the Deputy refers has now been received in my Department and my officials will be in contact with the parents of the person in question shortly in relation to the matter.
