Vol. 545 No. 5

Written Answers. - Children's Allowance.

Dan Neville

Question:

100 Mr. Neville asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if she will give details of the changes introduced in the payment of children's allowance to parents of children under 18 years of age on FÁS schemes. [31512/01]

The most recent increase in the basic community employment rate was in March. This is in line with increases in unemployment payments announced by the Department of Social, Community and Family Affairs. The child dependant allowance remained unchanged at £13.20 per child at the full rate.
