Vol. 546 No. 4

Written Answers. - Library Projects.

Jimmy Deenihan

Question:

104 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government when a new library will be provided at Castleisland, County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [31993/01]

My Department has recently received Stage 2 (sketch design/ cost plan) proposals from Kerry County Council for the Castleisland library project, and these are currently being examined. A decision on when the proposal might proceed to tender stage is contingent on a number of factors, including the outcome of the examination referred to and the competing demands of other library projects.
