82 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Finance the number of persons in receipt of a public service pension; the aggregate value of payments; and the number of public service pensioners in receipt of a pension of less than 150 per week. [32054/01]

In the Civil Service, the area for which I am directly responsible, there were 13,991 persons in receipt of Civil Service occupational pensions at end 2000 and the aggregate payment in 2000 in respect of those pensioners was £109.819 million, 139.441 million.

In October 2001, the number of Civil Service pensioners in receipt of an occupational pension of less than 150 per week was 7,208.
