320 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education and Science the position regarding the provision of proposed and anticipated facilities at the girls Presentation national school, Maynooth, County Kildare; the extent to which the full requirements are likely to be met; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [32422/01]

I am pleased to inform the Deputy that architectural planning is under way for a building project at the school in question. It is not possible at this stage to state exactly when the project will go on site.

321 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education and Science the progress in regard to the provision of extra facilities at Kill national school, Kill, County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [32423/01]

An application has been received for capital funding in respect of a proposed project at Kill national school, County Kildare. Decisions on the appointment of design teams in respect of individual projects will be taken in the light of the recent allocation for primary school buildings in last week's budget and my Department will be in contact with the school authorities as soon as possible.
