1332 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Education and Science further to Parliamentary Question No. 419 of 11 December 2001, the recommendations included in the report; his plans to make a decision on the issue; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2470/02]
I met with members of the local steering committee recently on the matters referred to by the Deputy. Additional information was made available to me by the steering committee at that meeting which is now being considered by my officials in conjunction with the report of the independent assessor. The relevant parties will be notified of the outcome of this review at the earliest opportunity.
