82 Mr. Healy-Rae asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources the provisions he has made for the repairs and renovations recommended by Kerry County Council to Renard Pier; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3778/02]
Renard Pier is owned by Kerry County Council and responsibility for its maintenance and repair rests with the local authority in the first instance. The local authority has forwarded a proposal for the development of the pier to my Department. This proposal is being considered at present in the context of available funding and overall priorities under the fisheries harbours capital programme.
