Vol. 548 No. 1

Written Answers. - Defence Forces Recruitment.

Andrew Boylan

Question:

89 Mr. Boylan asked the Minister for Defence the position regarding a person (details supplied) who did an entry exam in November 2001 for entry into the Defence Forces; the reason this person has not heard from his Department regarding a start date; and when this person will be called by his Department. [3834/02]

I have been informed by the military authorities that the person whose details have been supplied by the Deputy applied for general service recruitment to the Defence Forces and was informed recently that her application was successful.

She will be informed of her enlistment date to the eastern brigade in the near future.
