456 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Education and Science further to the Taoiseach's announcement in relation to Gaelscoil Chluain Meala, when the school management will be granted funds so that the leaking roof can be repaired; and the status of the promise to purchase a site for a new gaelscoil. My Department provided grant aid towards remedial works to the roof of the existing building which were carried out last year. The property management section of the Office of Public Works is acting on behalf of my Department in relation to site acquisitions generally and has been requested to explore the possibility of acquiring a site for Gaelscoil Chluain Meala.
