Question:

147 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if a person (details supplied) in County Offaly will receive full payment on 87 animals under the special beef premium for this person's herd in County Tipperary. [6558/02]

The person named has declared land under two herd numbers, an Offaly and Tipperary herd number. All his land parcels were declared on his area aid application bearing the Offaly herd number.

The person named made the following applications for special beef premium in 2001: under the Offaly herd number, 17 animals on 15 March 2001 – advance payment totalling €1,849.60 will issue within the next two weeks in respect of the 17 animals listed on this application; under the Tipperary herd number, 87 animals on 7 February 2001. Advance payment totalling €9,356.80 will issue within the next two weeks in respect of 86 animals listed on this application. One animal submitted for second age premium had already received this category of premium and thus was not due payment.
