38 Proinsias De Rossa asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands if her attention has been drawn to statements made by a person (details supplied) regarding the proposed appointment of the director of IMMA, and that this person would make the details available to her if requested; if she has sought this information; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I can confirm to the Deputy that my attention has been drawn to the statements made by the former chairperson of IMMA. I have not sought any details relating to the matter and I now regard the matter as closed.
