431 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Health and Children if a person (details supplied) can be called immediately for cardiac treatment in Crumlin Hospital, Dublin; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9116/02]

Services for eligible patients at Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children, Crumlin, are provided under an arrangement with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has, therefore asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate the position in this case and to reply to the Deputy directly.

432 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Health and Children if a person (details supplied) in County Sligo can be called for a cat scan in Sligo General Hospital; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9117/02]

Responsibility for the provision of hospital services to residents of County Sligo rests with the North-Western Health Board. My Department has, therefore asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly.
