706 Mr. Howlin asked the Minister for Education and Science if additional learning support teachers will be provided to the Sacred Heart national school, Newbawn, County Wexford; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8512/02]
The school in question currently has the services of a learning support teacher post which is shared with three other schools in the area. The needs of the school in question will be taken fully into account in the event of additional learning support teacher posts becoming available for distribution.
