Hayes asked the Minister for Education and Science if his Department will make a grant available under the grant scheme for special projects in respect of the provision of a manager's position for the Tallaght Travellers Youth Service; when a decision will be taken in respect of this application; and if he will make a statement on the matter. An application for funding under the special projects for youth scheme has been received in the youth affairs section of my Department. This application, together with all other applications received, will be given full consideration in the context of available funds for youth work services this year.
