252 Mr. P. Carey asked the Minister for Education and Science if uninterrupted and reliable school transport can be provided for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 11 as the service currently available is entirely inadequate; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10477/02]

Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods):

The school transport section of my Department has recently sanctioned a taxi service for the pupil referred to by the Deputy. Bus Éireann have been informed of the sanction and requested to make the necessary arrangements.
