Vol. 551 No. 4

Written Answers. - Public Payphones.

John McGuinness

Question:

127 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if a company (details supplied) has been requested to provide public payphones to take the euro at St. Canice's Hospital, Kilkenny; if so, the date the request was made; the reasons it has taken so long to upgrade the public phones for patients; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10663/02]

Responsibility for the provision of this service rests with the South-Eastern Health Board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply to him directly.
