Question:

404 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will be seen by a consultant in relation to ongoing urology problems. [11966/02]

The provision of hospital services in this instance is the responsibility of the Western Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply directly to the Deputy.

405 Mr. Crawford asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Monaghan will be called for an appointment in Our Lady's Hospital, Navan; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11975/02]

Responsibility for the provision of hospital services to residents of County Monaghan rests with the North-Eastern Health Board. Therefore, my Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly.
