426 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources if he will provide a list of the post offices in County Sligo that are not in the postal area covered by the Sligo head post office; if he will outline the areas-routes covered by each of these post offices; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13471/02]

The administrative structure for the post office network was changed in early 2001 to an area office structure. The head office for the north-west region is based in Sligo town. As a result of this change, 15 offices in County Sligo are now administered from the area office in Sligo town. Previously, these offices had not come within the ambit of the Sligo office. A list of the offices in question is set out in the table below.
