Written Answers. - Naturalisation Applications.
An application for a certificate of naturalisation from the person referred to by the Deputy was submitted to my Department in November 2001. The average processing time for an application for naturalisation is 15 months at present and it is therefore likely that the application of the person concerned will be finalised in the first half of 2003. As soon as I have reached a decision on the matter, both the applicant and the Deputy will be informed of the outcome.
