299 Ms O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Health and Children when his Department will provide funding to health boards to pay for incontinence wear for medical card holders in private nursing homes; the reason there is a delay of more than one year in providing funding, which health boards are paying out of their existing budget; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department is in ongoing contact with the ERHA and the health boards on the funding of services generally, including the provision of incontinence wear to medical card holders in private nursing homes.
