Vol. 553 No. 5

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Willie Penrose

Question:

323 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Health and Children if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 346 of 17 April 2002, he will ensure that a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath will be immediately admitted to have a triple by-pass operation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14770/02]

Responsibility for the provision of health services to persons living in County Westmeath rests with the Midland Health Board. My Department has again asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
