Question:

360 Mr. Haughey asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the annual rate of increase in the tax on motorbikes for the past ten years; if he will give concessions to members of the Irish Veteran and Vintage Motorcycle Club in this regard; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14655/02]

The following table gives the rates of motor tax for motorcycles from 1991. A concessionary rate for veteran-vintage vehicles, including motorcycles, was introduced in 1991 and the current rate for motorcycles is €16.
