261 Mr. B. Smith asked the Minister for Social and Family Affairs when an application will be finalised regarding a request to the Commission of Charitable Donations and Bequests for Ireland to sanction the sale of the parochial house and adjoining lands at a location (details supplied) in County Cavan; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I have been in touch with the office of the Commissioners regarding the application referred to by the Deputy and I have been advised that the commissioners, having considered the application, requested further information from the applicant to enable them to make a decision. When the commissioners are in possession of all the facts, the application will be further considered by them and a decision will be made.
The next meeting of the commissioners is due to be held on 16 July.
