399 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the number of sites allocated to individuals to provide their own homes under the low-cost subsidised site scheme for the years 1999, 2000 and 2001 and up to the end of June 2002; the number of sites allocated for voluntary rental housing projects funded under his Department's capital funding schemes; the number of sites allocated to co-operative rental housing projects under his Department's capital funding schemes; the number of sites allocated for co-operative home-ownership group schemes; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Information in relation to the levels of activity under the sale of sites scheme for each local authority is published in my Department's quarterly and annual bulletins of housing statistics, copies of which are available in the Oireachtas Library. The additional information for the categories requested is not readily available and its compilation would involve a disproportionate amount of time and work.
