182 Ms B. Moynihan-Cronin asked the Minister for Finance his policy with regard to decentralisation; the progress which has been made in the implementation of this policy; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18991/02]
The Government is committed to moving forward the progressive decentralisation of Government offices and agencies. As I have said before, there are a wide range of important issues which must be taken into consideration in making decisions in relation to the decentralisation programme. I am not, as yet, able to say when I expect the Government to be in a position to take such a decision.
