609 Mr. Hayes asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform when an application for a holiday permit for a person (details supplied) in the Ukraine will be finalised; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19874/02]

The visa application in question was received in my Department in July 2002. On 16 July further documentation was requested from the Irish reference. A decision will be made on this application as soon as this documentation is received.
