420 Ms O'Donnell asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government when he intends signing a commencement order to bring in section 122 of the Local Government Act, 2001; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21139/02]

I have today signed an order commencing this provision with effect from 14 November 2002.
