I refer to the reply to Question No. 197 of 23 October 2002.

Cecilia Keaveney

Question:

264 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government when works will commence on a building (details supplied) in County Donegal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21788/02]

My Department was notified on Tuesday evening, 5 November that a section of the outer wall, on the south side of the property referred to in the question, had collapsed. The site was inspected early on Wednesday, 6 November and for safety reasons was closed to the public. My officials are at present considering the inspection report in order to determine the cause of the collapse. Once this determination is made, planning of the necessary repair works will commence.
