Question:

87 Mr. Allen asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the organisations met by either her or the Minister of State regarding community employment schemes and job initiative schemes in the Cork area over the past three months; the date of the meetings; and the persons who attended. [22801/02]

I met the following four community groups from the Cork area on Thursday, 31 October 2002:

These were informal meetings for the purpose of updating myself on local issues concerning the operation of community employment in the Cork area. The meetings were attended by some public representatives and local FÁS staff. The Tánaiste had no such meetings during the period in question.
