Vol. 558 No. 2

Written Answers. - Telecommunications Regulation.

Kathleen Lynch

Question:

168 Ms Lynch asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources if it is necessary for private companies such as a company (details supplied) to seek permission from him for a price increase. [23991/02]

I have no function in this matter. The regulation of prices charged by the company in question is currently governed by the Wireless Telegraphy (Programme Services Distribution) Regulations, 1999, administered by the Office of the Director of Telecommunications Regulation.
