Question:150 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Education and Science when work will commence on the new post-primary school for Castlegregory, County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23938/02]
Written Answers. - Schools Building Projects.
The proposed new school at Castlegregory, County Kerry, is at the pre-tender stage of architectural planning. My Department is also purchasing a site for the proposed new school. Once the site purchase is finalised, the question of authorising the school authority to proceed to stage six, tender action and report, will be considered, as in previous years, when all budgetary issues for 2003 have been finalised and the precise allocations for 2003 have been determined.
