192 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the progress being made to amend the law to allow local authorities operating a tag-a-bin system to collect only those bins which have been tagged. [24098/02]

It is proposed to address this issue in the forthcoming protection of the environment Bill, formerly referred to as the Environmental Protection Agency (Amendment) Bill.
