Vol. 558 No. 4

Written Answers. - Exchequer Expenditure.

Michael Mulcahy

Question:

192 Mr. Mulcahy asked the Minister for Finance if he will give details of each and every State agency or body funded from the Exchequer; the number of staff employed in each; and the total Exchequer allocation for each for 2002. [24258/02]

The following table details the 2002 Estimate of Exchequer expenditure for non-commercial State agencies or bodies under my aegis and the number of staff employed in each during 2002.

The 2002 Revised Estimates for Public Services include details of Exchequer expenditure for non-commercial State agencies or bodies within individual Votes. In addition, agency statements included in the Revised Estimates Volume provide further details of expenditure for some of these bodies together with information on Exchequer and non-Exchequer sources of income. More details on the precise numbers of employees for those agencies are available from the Ministers concerned.
