301 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of the Western Health Board's home help clients who have had their hours increased since the reassessments started to take place in 2002; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [24432/02]
The provision of health services in this area is, in the first instance, the responsibility of the Western Health Board. As the information sought by the Deputy is not held in my Department, the chief executive officer of the board has been asked to investigate the matter raised and provide the information requested, direct to the Deputy, as a matter of urgency.
