300 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Kerry will be called for a knee operation to a doctor (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [24406/02]

The provision of services for people living in County Kerry is a matter, in the first instance, for the Southern Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply directly to him.
