Vol. 558 No. 4

Written Answers. - Animal Health Report.

Dan Neville

Question:

183 Mr. Neville asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food his views on the review of the final report of the investigation of animal health problems at Askeaton, County Limerick, prepared by a person (details supplied) which was commissioned by the Irish Farmers Association. [24643/02]

The investigation into animal health problems in Askeaton was co-ordinated by the Environmental Protection Agency, EPA. The EPA, in conjunction with the other agencies involved, including my Department, is considering the ICON report and will form a view in due course. It would not be appropriate for me to comment in the matter before this exercise is completed.
