Written Answers. - Services for People with Disabilities.

John McGuinness

Question:

124 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children the status of representations made by DISC, County Kilkenny, regarding the provision of proper public access for the disabled at St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny and the clinic, James Green, Kilkenny; if sliding doors will be provided at both these access points; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25218/02]

The provision of public access for the disabled at St. Luke's Hospital, County Kilkenny, is a matter in the first instance for the South Eastern Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply directly to him.
