164 Ms O. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children his plans to develop health services to serve the proposed gateways and hubs in line with the national spatial strategy; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26049/02]
My Department supports the overall objectives of the national spatial strategy particularly with regard to the enhancement of quality of life which has direct health consequences. In that context health infrastructural investment has been committed in recent years and is being committed to the various gateways and hubs, such as Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Waterford, Tullamore, Mullingar, Castlebar, Tralee and Kilkenny.
