165 Mr. Crawford asked the Minister for Health and Children if funding is available for a person (details supplied) in County Monaghan for orthodontic treatment; if the cost will be arranged through the health board; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26106/02]

Responsibility for the provision of orthodontic treatment to eligible persons in County Monaghan rests with the North-Eastern Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
