Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy P. Breen – the need to put in place a compensation package for fishermen in Quilty, County Clare; (2) Deputy Gogarty – the need to suspend the designation of Adamstown as a strategic development zone pending a full investigation; (3) Deputy Deenihan – the urgent need to appoint a design team to move forward the construction of the Community Hospital at Tralee, County Kerry; (4) Deputy Hoctor – the remedial action to be taken in response to the job losses at the Miza Plant in Roscrea; Deputy Crawford – the ongoing difficulties and lack of service in Monaghan General Hospital in light of the tragic circumstances of the death of a premature baby.

The matters raised by Deputies Hoctor, Breen, Deenihan and Gogarty have been selected for discussion.
