108 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Education and Science further to Parliamentary Question No. 663 of 9 October 2002, the position regarding the retention of the school; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26244/02]
I am actively examining the matter raised by the Deputy. As part of that process, my Department is currently analysing the most recent demographic data available from Census 2002, housing construction and planning application details, and pupil movement into and out of the catchment area.
The relevant parties will be notified of the outcome of this review at the earliest possible opportunity.
