Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children the breakdown of the additional capital, revenue and funding available for intellectual disability services in 2003; if health boards were given directions as to the way in which this money was to be spent; the number of additional respite residential and day care places it is envisaged will be provided in 2003; and if he will make a statement on the matter. 293 Ms O. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children the additional funding which has been allocated for autism, including diagnostic services, treatments including early intervention and residential, respite and day care services; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26645/02]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 286, 291 and 293 together.

In 2003 additional funding amounting to €13.3 million is being made available to services for people with intellectual disabilities and those with autism, of which €12.3 million has been allocated. Details of the breakdown between the ERHA and the health boards is as follows:
