124 Mr. P. McGrath asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason for the delay in payment of special beef premium in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath; and if this payment will be expedited. [26408/02]
The person named made two applications in respect of 45 animals under the 2002 special beef premium scheme. Subsequently the herd of the person named was depopulated for BSE and a new herd number was issued. Advance payment in respect of 45 animals was issued on 16 December 2002.
