80 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will approve funding for three primary schools in County Roscommon for which a commitment was given prior to the general election; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26602/02]

I take it that the Deputy is referring to national schools at Ballyfeeney, Clooneyquin and Roxboro.

Tender reports for the three schools are currently with the building unit of my Department. I will be announcing my Department's expenditure proposals for school buildings in the new year. It is not possible at this point to give any indication as to when construction will commence on individual projects.
