Vol. 560 No. 1

Written Answers. - Central Fisheries Board.

Pat Carey

Question:

556 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources the reason the Central Fisheries Board is to relocate from its premises in Mobhi Boreen, Glasnevin, Dublin 1; if it is necessary to relocate to premises in Maynooth; if so, the length of time involved; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1689/03]

Arrangements are being put in place to urgently relocate the staff of the Central Fisheries Board from their current premises in Glasnevin to other accommodation due to inadequacies in the existing premises on health and safety grounds. The permanent relocation has not been finalised and any decisions on the future home of the Central Fisheries Board will be taken in the context of the Government's programme of decentralisation of the public service.
