479 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform when the Land Registry Office will issue a duplicate land certificate of a folio for a person (details supplied) in County Mayo; and the reason it is taking so long to deal with this request. [3794/03]
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this is an application for a duplicate land certificate which was lodged on 5 April 2000, dealing No. D2000SM002726T refers.
The notice for publication in the Law Society's Gazette, in relation to this application, has now been sent to the lodging solicitor. On receipt of a copy of the advertisement and on expiration of the notice period in this case, this application will receive further consideration in the Land Registry.
I can assure the Deputy that this application is receiving attention in the Land Registry.
